HR software · AI development
Resumes ranked and explained. Recruiters still decide.
AI screening built into an HR software company's own product. It ranks candidates against the job, shows why, and leaves every decision to recruiters.
The problem
An HR software company's customers screened resumes by hand. Recruiters read every application for every open role. It was slow, and the result depended on who did the reading.
The company wanted screening built into its own product, where recruiters already worked. It could not be a black box that turns people away with no reason given.
What we built
Reads every resume
Each resume is read in full. Skills, experience, and past roles are pulled out and highlighted.
Ranks against the job
Candidates are ordered by how well they fit the job description the recruiter wrote.
A reason for every rank
Each candidate shows matching skills, missing skills, and relevant experience. The recruiter sees why they placed there.
Recruiters build the shortlist
The ranking is a starting point. Recruiters can move anyone up or down.
Inside the tools recruiters know
Built with the client's product team, into the screens recruiters already use.
How AI helps
Matches meaning, not keywords
A skill described in the candidate's own way still matches the job.
Plain reasons for each rank
Every ranking comes with reasons a recruiter can check against the resume itself.
Tuned on real hiring data
Matching was tuned on the client's own job posts and resumes before launch.
How it works
- 01
A recruiter opens a job in the platform.
- 02
Resumes come in as people apply.
- 03
The AI reads each one and ranks it against the job description.
- 04
The recruiter sees the ranked list, with the reasons beside each name.
- 05
The recruiter builds the shortlist and makes the final call.
